4. Jewellery Care
Q: What can I do when my jewellery turns grey / black?
A: This is a process called tarnish. We made sure to delay this process as much as possible by putting a final rhodium plating on top of all jewellery.
You can delay this process yourself as much as possible by following the steps given below:
- Keeping your jewellery clean and dry;
- Dapping it clean and dry with a microfiber cloth before storing it away;
- Keeping it in the included jewellery box;
- Avoiding deep scratches which can damage the upper rhodium layer. This will expose the precious metal directly to the air, oils and dirt.
Finally, you can clean and restore tarnished jewellery by using the Hagerty Jewellery Cloth.
